There’s always one parent who is usually the shutterbug that snaps away at all of the family’s fondest memories but often gets left out of all the photos because they are behind the camera instead of in front of it. Kevin and Leah learned that after their daughter Kaylin’s birthday, that they missed out on the fun because they were so busy taking pictures. This time, for their second child, Jacob, they decided to hire me so they could sit back and enjoy the party. Lucky me!!
We started in their backyard for family portraits and Jacob’s one year photo. I made him an orange and blue flag banner since Kevin and I are University of Florida alumni {Go Gators!!}, but didn’t realize how painful it was for poor Leah, who went to the University of Kentucky. All of that orange and blue… she definitely took one for the team. :) Maybe next time around?

They had a pool party in their clubhouse, where Leah’s dad started off with a beautiful blessing.
Because I could not get releases on all the children, I had to leave out all the cute little faces! But Jacob’s cake smash definitely makes up for it!
