It is recommended to take newborn photos within 2 weeks because they’ll be more cooperative, less likely to develop colic or baby acne. So, I was interested (and a bit nervous) in how my session with 3 week old Owen Russell would turn out.
When Owen’s mother, Robin warned me that he was not sleeping well for the last few days, she wasn’t kidding! He was the most alert newborn I have ever met. He fought to stay awake for 5 hours! And he even held his head up to see what we were doing with him. :) He was so inquisitive, spunky, and expressive. Even though we didn’t get fun with props and positions, this family was a joy to photograph! I can’t wait to see Owen grow!
